Santa Margherita 12
Former headquarters of the Banco di Sicilia in Via Santa Margherita 12, the major work of the architect Carlo Polli, who did not get to see its completino in 1951, this building is a balanced composition of different languages. An architecture destined to the tertiary sector to be jealously preserved in its original façade features, but entirely transformed in the distribution layout by Studio Asti that took care of the general redevelopment project.
Therefore, if on the street façades the intervention was limited to a conservative restoration of the damaged parts, the internal façades, clad in Istrian stone, have undergone a profound transformation and enhancement, with the addition of a series of hanging terraces and green spaces.
