DURINI 16-17
It is mainly intended for executive use and consists of three main structures which enclose a courtyard with a dome at the centre. On one hand the design choice aimed to restore homogeneity to the complex by means of redevelopment interventions which would highlight the characteristics of the building overlooking Via Durini and,
on the other hand to redesign the interior façades by using traditional materials – stone, wood and ochre-coloured plaster – in a logic of solids and voids densely marked to guarantee maximum flexibility to the interior spaces. The redevelopment also allowed to create a new valuable interior space in relation to the dome – a green “roof open house”.
