Asti Architetti – The Book

The volume documents the work of Studio Asti which, since the early 2000s, has been working in the city of Milan with a dual intention: to create new projects and to give new life to historic buildings. Therefore, its work focuses on new buildings and, at the same time, on the renovation of buildings and their reconversion, with a view to interpreting the old style on the basis of modern living needs: a non-manual architecture that can be identified with a new “normality”. The projects illustrated here – in some of the city’s most central locations, from Bastioni di Porta Nuova to Cordusio, from Corso Europa to Foro Bonaparte, from Largo Cairoli to Via Moscova, from Via della Spiga to Piazza Velasca – concern buildings ranging from residential to tertiary services, to commercial and hotel facilities: the studio pays great attention to the context, architectural quality, details and the adoption of cutting-edge energy technologies.
