Image restyling and high architectural performance are key features of the new headquarters of an Italian bank on the corner of Largo Augusto and Largo Bersaglieri. An intervention of re-functionalisation and general and massive “recladding” which, in spite of its contrasting language, manages to fit in a perfectly balanced way into the heterogeneous fabric built nearby,

acting as an element of “re-stitching” the existing structure. Without altering the shape of the old factory building, the transparent casing, marked when necessary by a system of burnished metal blades, emphasizes its verticality by adding a clearly recognizable and contemporary touch.
