The building, which has today an executive function, modifies the previous one, now dated, with a contemporary redesign and light fading volumes which were added to the old structure of the 1930s: large glass windows with high thermal performance and metal carpentry which fit into the existing rustic brick façades with regular-scan windows.

The crystal element is recalled thorugh slabs attached to offset levels in the steel structure to build the curved wall at the intersection between the two directions of Via Fabio Filzi and Via Galvani: a “lantern” that scenically enhances one of the main entrances. A “green” vocation of the whole building, led to the awarding, first time in Milan, of the Leed Platinum Level energy certification.
