After demolishing the pre-existing buildings, two distinct residential units were built from scratch, separated by a common central space. As seen from the street, an evident contemporary insertion stands out in the existing façade. The façade layout is simple in its dynamic design of solids and voids: an irregular alternation of different glazed openings,
large on the ground floor and smaller on the upper floors, framed by Calizia stone and horizontal strips of burnished metal that mark the balcony edges. The same pattern is repeated in the plastered interior façades. Here the residences unfold with great views over a green planted court yard which connects the two units.
